Combine the persistent wind of Tug Hill and the the plentiful lake effect snow fall, and one can see why Tug Hill has become the focus for the relatively young sport of Snow Kite Skiing (also referred to as Snowkiting). Kite Skiing on snow is much like cross-country skiing, on a snowboard or skis, with the pull from the kite and the power of the wind. Learn more at wikipedia.org.
